AS Exams

So for some peculiar reason, I decided to stay on at school when I could have escaped. Initially, it was the path to university and then teaching but as I have since changed my career plans, I think it was more a case of not knowing exactly what I wanted to do (rather than what I thought I wanted to and convincing myself) and so staying in school gave me another two years to make that decision.

As a result, I've got seven exams coming up in the next month. Scary times. While I certainly will not be leaving until they are over, I will need to accomodate for revision time because there's so much to know that I can't remember in sufficient detail. On any night preceding an exam, I won't be coming online as I'll need to cram. Below is a list of my exam dates and thus the days I won't be on. However, I'll still be on in the morning to keep up with admin stuff unless I have an exam that day.

- Tuesday 15th May
- Wednesday 16th May
- Tuesday 22nd May
- Thursday 24th May
- Tuesday 29th May
- Wednesday 30th May

After that, I have no lessons until the 18th of June so I'll have lots of time to spend on here (because if my teachers think I'm going to do any work to get ahead with my A2, they can bloody well think again).

So today one of my Geography teachers raised the point that everything else needs to go on hold for the next few weeks if we want to do well in our exams. As her advice has not yet proved ineffective and I'd like to do as well as I can, I've got to make some sacrifices. Due to the structure of how my time is spent, roleplaying is the only area that I can cut down on because any other time not spent at school is spent eating and sleeping. I will by no means abandon you or leave it to appear as though I am absent but I won't be able to be as accessible as usual.

I'll still be around to answer questions, accept applications, blah blah blah but I won't be able to post as frequently. The first week will be the worst as I have three exams to revise for and I now have less than a week to revise everything for them. After that, I'll have extra time to revise where I would have had those lessons and so will be able to do a little less at home. I just wanted to let you all know in case I get an epiphany and start taking my education seriously again, which I hopefully will.

I promise to plot with you all when I get back. A couple of members have joined without a proper welcome so I'll be making sure to rectify this as soon as time realistically allows it.
