Okay! Now that I've gotten all of your attention and drawn you in with the PRETTYPRETTYCOLOURS, let me introduce myself.

I'm Nick, and I'm from Australia, and I'm new here. But please don't hold that against me! I have currently made one character, a tribute from District Two, and intend on making some more should I find the time to be able to support multiple characters! But for now, I'll tell you a bit about Mat...

MATRIMdanielFAIRBAIN

Matrim Fairbain is my first character, and he's pretty awesome. He's a tribute from District Two, which specialises in stonework and defense - so he's pretty buff physically, is good at handling himself in close-combat situations, and also is quite clever with tactics and defense. In terms of how he interacts with people, he's a pretty nice guy, and quite charismatic - but, while coming across as friendly, is generally quite guarded at making deep connections. The exception to this is when he becomes interested in a girl - then his guard can tend to fall rather quickly. Once he does let someone in, he tends to trust them deeply - if you're inside Mat's circles, he'll trust you and look after you. If you're not in his trust circle, (in the games, I mean), then he won't hesitate (probably) to take you out, as it will protect and help those close to him.

If you have any idea how any of your characters would interact with Mat, let me know ideas and we can discuss some plots!

Some things that would really be particularly helpful...

- Tributes (probably career) for a potential alliance in the arena
- A prep team? (I'd love you forever if you volunteered for this!)
- Friends/relationships from his life within District 2 (open to anything!)
- Tributes who are at odds with Mat (ie, dont get along, rivalries)

Luca Whitehall is my new stylist character! He will be the stylist for District 9. He's the arty type, gentle, soft-spoken and thoughtful, but he doesn't tend to rely on other people much. He can be a bit flighty and scattered in his thoughts. He's a musician, plays piano and sings; due to all of this he's quite articulate with his thoughts, and is good at reading people and giving advice when required.

He is generally friendly but can be a little offish in the beginning with new people. But once you're past those walls, he's a good person to build close relationships with!

I'm after lots of fun plots with Luca! Most of them would be around the Capitol I'd imagine, but they could be with anyone, civilians, other stylists, mentors, escorts, District 9 tributes, anyone really! I'm really keen to get into posting a lot with him so let's make some awesome plots

MATRIM: cadmus was going to be an ally of the previous district 2 tribute so he's going to be thrown at you too. they're both from career districts and neither of them are particularly nasty people so presumably they'd get along as well as is possible given their circumstances. cadmus will be in the career alliance so if matrim does the same, which he is welcome to do, then they can watch eachother's back.

first of all let me give you a big warm hug for joining elizza in district 2. *glomps nick* and i'm zoianne, your new best friend. alright, now we got the introduction over with! here is your district partner elizza larkspur. a seventeen year old hard-core career with problems. she has grown to be a pretty deep person but she is quite the handful and can be rather fun at times. they will obviously be a part of the career pack. elizza doesn't exactly want to get too attached to people because she wants to stay focused on winning the games. however as the process moves on she becomes less tense and starts to use her time before the arena to her benefit. now mat seems like someone she would trust. maybe they have seen each other around while training but never really spoke? back in district 2 she isn't too social, well not as much as she used to be. anything you want to add? i'm up to anything with this young lady!

Yay for having characters thrown at me! Well, yay until the impact, then it'd be a bit of a mass of tangled limbs and pain. But that's beside the point. You're right about neither of them being nasty people, and both careers, so I agree that they'd get on well (as well as you can in a games where eventually at least one of you has to die). But yeah, I think they'd definitely be part of the careers pack together, Mat would definitely understand that that's how they have the best chance of one of them winning.

Oh, an escort, awesome! Well, I think Mat would try to make the most of having Hestia around, asking her a lot of questions about what she knows about things like sponsorship and previous tributes and what has worked well and badly for them in the past. So I think he'd try to chat with her quite a lot, and through that they'd start to get to know each other better. Until he goes in the arena, so it will be shortlived of course, but still could be fun!

Thankyou for the hug! *glomps zoianne in return* And superyay for district two buddies! Well, yeah, not necessarily buddies. They'd probably have seen each other around since they're the same age, so could have been training in similar circles but never really spoken. I'd say that once they're both reaped, Mat would be making a bit of an effort to talk to her and get to know her - in his eyes, them being a small tighter alliance within the careers pack would be a clever move to try and last out at the end. Well, that's what he'd tell himself in terms of trying to get close to her - the other driving factor, well, she's really cute, and he would very much struggle to resist a face like hers. I'd say things would start off pretty tense between them (figures, they've just been reaped) but eventually they'd relax and become pretty close. And if thats the case, I can see him soon caring quite deeply about her, which would be quite awkward and excellent drama!

fantastic. yes, i think they should be more looking after each other and themselves rather than the others in the pack to outlast them. i like that. at first it would be tense, she would be going through a bit in her mind as to taking everything in and forgetting some instances since her best and only friend died in the games a couple years back. so she would take note of him, but not exactly try to speak to him. warning that she will come off as tactless cause he would be the least of her worries. she would be surprised, while somewhat glad, that he would care that much for her. but she will be hard to reach out to in the beginning of course. i think she would eventually begin to care about him and be kind of protective of him without admitting it to herself. but i like everything you said!

yes, they just barely got on the train. so you could join the thread in district two that started with the reaping. or you could ask vicky if it's alright to start a new thread for the train for them. right now elizza is just in her compartment kind of staying away from it all before really getting into everything. but yea feel free to join the thread! also i have a career roster here if you could just pm me the info: his skills and personality. that would be great! cause i need to add mat. c:
