What you waiting for? waiting for your life to end to begin again. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.tinypic.com/wb98wn.jpg');,true] No, you get back up and you try again !
Her greenish grey eyes smiled at Thane's overreaction to her simple maybe. It had turned into a smirk as she looked to the ground in front of her, then glanced at the sky. The sky was darkening by the second, it always looked rather nice with the shadow of the mountains laying on the land ahead of it. Although now you could barely tell it was the shadow because it seemed to spread everywhere.
After sitting back against the tree, she raised a brow back at Thane as he questioned her about patience. She knew he was only acting as if he wasn't even familiar with the term. But she decided to give him the straight forward answer. She put on a witty smile and said in soft tone, "Well, patience is the willingness to conceal restlessness when confronted with delay."
Elizza knew quite a bit off the top of head, since school was the only thing she had to do when she was younger. She didn't have any distractions, meaning friends or training, until she grew up of course. It came in handy at times, not necessarily like that time because she was only meaning to joke around with him, but rather when people automatically stereotyped her. She was showing off in a way in that case, but she liked it for the most part.
Elizza had her own problems with patience, so telling him to be so would be humorous in a way. She normally had this problem with her parents, sometimes she acted like she had better things to do then talk to them and sometimes she did, but she felt bad at times for doing so. She always felt that she would be missing out or she wasn't using the time wisely. She still was impatient with them at times, but not as much anymore, she learned the hard way once.

Thane then smirked as she defined patience, he was pretty sure she knew he had only been joking but heck he was impressed with her response, she was pretty smart, well not just pretty smart, really smart, a lot smarter than most of the people he would hang around with. "Yeah.. that's not me" he told her with a smirk, he just wasn't patient, never had been never will be. He liked things there and then not in a while.
Thane pulled out his phone one more time, just to check the time. It was as he was fearing, he didn't have long left with her. He sighed and put it back in his pocket and turned to face her. "I'm probably going to have to go soon.." he told her frowning a little bit, he didn't want to go but he had to, his time at district two had come to an end and it was time to return back to his hectic in the moment lifestyle.
"Thanks.. you've made this trip completely worth while" he told her deciding he ought to wrap up their little meeting, he didn't like doing it but he didn't have long left and he figured goodbye's always took a while so he may as well start it off now.

“Yea, not me either,” Elizza said casually with a shrug. At least they could admit it, some people were extremely defensive or in denial the likes.
Elizza watched Thane as he checked his phone, she assumed it was for the time. It was late, but she wasn't planning on getting home even though she should, she never really did when she was suppose to anyway. But one time wouldn't hurt since she had nothing to do, or she could go roam somewhere else, find a safe spot to train. All of these were options that were forming in her head, options she didn't really care much about doing at the moment. She felt pretty lazy in that sense.
When he said he had to leave soon she only nodded her head slightly. “Oh,” she said quietly. She didn't want to keep him here, and she knew he had to get a ride back to the Capitol, which she never seemed to know how long it was. The only way to find out was the Hunger Games. Elizza let a small smile occupy her face, she didn't want it to be one of those depressing goodbyes. Even though she wouldn't see him again, but the possibility of winning the games if she were able to volunteer that year were still stuck her mind.
“No problem,” she said softly with a small smile on her lips. She was glad that she could add some help or use to his trip there, it made her feel somewhat accomplished. It had been worthwhile for her as well, she hadn't just sat and cleared her mind in a while, or rather had that comfort she had with him. It was still strange and surprising in the back of her head, but it seemed right all the same.
Elizza stood up and offered him her hand. “Come on,” she said waiting for him to take it and get up himself. It felt good to stand again, after sitting for a while. She had to be active most of the time but it was nice to just sit there against the tree for a while, she hadn't done that too often.

Thane wished sometimes he could control time, slow it down, rewind it and stop it altogether, he just hated it when he was enjoying something and then suddenly it was time to finish and leave. He also wished he could speed up time too but that is because as we have established his patience is pretty much non existent at times.
Thane didnt really understand how his trip to find some muse had ended up with him sitting with a career under a tree for a while, he also could never have predicted that would happen. He figured he'd just look around for a bit then find and ask a few people few questions then find like the most respected person in the district or something and ask him if he has any ideas on where he should go.. didn't end up like that at all though.
Thane took her hand and stood up, well this was it, goodbye time, it sucked. Thane let go of her hand and placed a small kiss on her cheek. "I'll see you again.. i'm sure of it" he told her with a small nod, he probably would, in a hunger games but she may never see him again. "Take care of yourself, yeah?" he told her with a smile.

Elizza didn't care much for goodbyes because she hated them. She thought of when she may, one day, have to say goodbye to her parents, either for good, or maybe only a few weeks. She would probably not even let it last long since she tries so hard not to elongate such matters. It only made it worse for herself, knowing that she held her own future, not anyone else. All the weight was on her, or at least it would be one day. She was confident with herself, so at least her worries wouldn't show, unless a person like Thane came along and pointed them out.
A small smile crossed Elizza's face as he gave a slight kiss on her cheek, saying that he'd see her again. He was sure to see her, however she would probably never see him. But she didn't want to think like that, she could win it if she had the chance to get in it. That was the first step, and she hoped she'd have a shot at it. She only nodded slightly before he went on. A small scoff escaped her mouth before she answered, "As always."
She always had and always will. She had a feeling he knew that she would volunteer for the games someday. She only had two years to try, and if she failed to become tribute she would never get to fulfill her purpose and avenge Gabriella. Only one part of her would be filled with completion and never the other. She couldn't let that happen, because then she had no other reason to be roaming around District 2. Elizza had to clear her mind once again of the thoughts that always seemed to occupy her focus.
"Thanks," she said, feeling the leather of the jacket. She wasn't only thanking him for letting her keep his jacket, but for spending the time he had with her and actually wanting to. It wasn't common and she was grateful for that. She had then remembered that kiss he'd been wanting from her. Deciding she'd give one to him before, Elizza stepped up closer to Thane. Letting her hands find his at her sides, she let her lips grace his before she kissed him. She liked the comfort of his lips, but she didn't want to get attached, which she sometimes had in the past. "For everything," she added after pulling away from him.

Here it was again, this time ten times harder than any good by he'd done in a long time, mainly because he knew that if he did see her again she'd probably be fighting for her life. There was a good chance he'd see her die, he didnt like that thought but it was there and it would haunt him.
Thane smiled as she told him she'd look after herself, he hoped she would be fine, well it was about time he was to head off. "It's fine" he said with a small smile, knowing she didn't just mean the jacket, he felt like he should be thanking her but he didnt want to stall any longer it would just get harder and harder to go.
Then came what he hadn't really been expecting yet had been asking for. He wasnt even sure what she was doing at first until their lips met, he smiled against hers, they were soft and it was good, he kissed her back moving a hand to her back. It felt good but it had to end so it did. He took a step back and nodded "If you kill like you kiss.. nobody stands a chance" he told her with a small smile. "Good luck Elizza" he finally said then turned and walked away.
He knew his way back, he'd been paying attention on the way there. He didnt look back at Elizza, he couldn't it'd only make him want to stay more and that just simply wasn't an option.
